"We are international developers of carbon offsetting programs. Our core mission is to create impactful projects that significantly reduce carbon emissions and positively contribute to both local and global communities. Voluntary carbon credits are issued by international non-profit organizations, known as "registries," such as Verra or Gold Standard. These organizations use methodologies to evaluate the emissions reductions or avoidance provided by various types of programs. Carbon credits are measured in tons of CO₂ equivalent. One carbon credit represents one ton of CO₂ emissions that have been reduced or avoided through the program associated with that carbon credit.
